Permaculture is a design system for creating sustainable and regenerative human environments. This Permaculture Teacher's course introduces a revolutionary new way of teaching these concepts of ecological design: by applying the principles of Permaculture to the teaching of Permaculture. The course will cover every aspect of being a dynamic, effective educator and promoter of a more sustainable, just future. These techniques can be applied to any teacher in any field. In this course you will learn:
Diverse teaching methods that work
Techniques to help you prepare quickly and organize thoroughly
Building confidence through practice and supportive critique
Elements for whole-person learning and learning styles
Teaching Permaculture techniques, strategies, and materials
Cultivating new teachers
Course planning, marketing, and evaluation
This course is modeled off of The TTC that Christopher Peck and Michael Kramer taught for some years and offers powerful teaching techniques. This course has been broadened from years of Permaculture teaching-wisdom from the instructors' own experience as well as from renowned Permaculture teachers and mentors from around the globe. Course attendees who are already certified in Permaculture Design will be eligible for Permaculture Teacher Certification.
Whole course materials and resources are included for one to offer and teach a PDC of their own creation. SIgn-up early as space is limited.
Note: A working knowledge of Permaculture Design is a prerequisite for attending.
